Masterclass with Prof. Midori Koga

In collaboration with the University of Toronto Piano Pedagogy Program

We are proud to collaborate with renowned pianist and educator Dr. Midori Koga to bring this enriching masterclass experience to our students. Held in both 2024 and 2025, these special events offer solo and group coaching sessions that provide valuable musical insight in a warm, professional environment.

Spring Recital

June

Our Spring Recital marked a joyful conclusion to the academic year — a chance for students to share everything they’ve learned and accomplished. From first-time performers to advanced students, everyone took the stage with heart and confidence. It was a beautiful afternoon of music, growth, and community — and a wonderful way to head into summer!

Winter Recital

December

Our Winter Recital was a heartwarming close to the year, as students of all ages shared the results of their hard work and musical growth. The cozy performance space was filled with festive decorations, supportive families, and lots of proud moments. It was a joyful way to celebrate the season — and a reminder of how far our students have come!

Halloween Recital & Party

October

One of our most fun and creative events of the year! Students performed in full costume — everything from wizards to superheroes — and shared spooky-themed music in a playful and encouraging environment. The Halloween Recital & Party is a favorite tradition that brings out imagination, confidence, and lots of smiles.

Student Challenges

Ongoing since 2025

Our Student Challenges are a fun and inspiring way to support practice, build confidence, and celebrate growth outside of regular performances. Launched in 2025, these irregular challenges encourage students to focus on specific goals — from technique and progress, to repertoire, creativity, and more.

Each challenge offers students a chance to stay motivated in their day-to-day practice and to be recognized for their hard work and dedication.

MIO Piano Festival 2024

April 2024
A vibrant celebration of piano performance and feedback! Students had the opportunity to perform for and learn from esteemed adjudicators including Dr. Asher Ian Armstrong (Lecturer at the University of Toronto) and Mr. Bowen Li (winner of the 2022 Australian National Piano Awards’ Sterling Prize).

This festival offered a valuable chance for students to grow through constructive critique and connect with a wider community of young pianists.
